With the continuous development of my country's plastic mold processing industry, plastic mold processing technology has also been continuously improved. These advances have completely changed the traditional mold design and manufacturing methods in the past, and laid a solid foundation for the further development of plastic molds in my country. First, analyze the current situation of plastic mold processing technology in my country, and then discuss its future development trend, hoping to provide a theoretical basis for promoting the development of plastic mold processing technology in my country.
At present, the proportion of plastic mold manufacturing in the entire mold industry is as high as 30%, which shows the importance of plastic mold processing technology . At this stage, plastic molds have been used in manufacturing industries such as aerospace, instrumentation and electromechanics, and automobiles. Therefore, plastic mold processing technology has very good development prospects.
1 Current status of plastic mold processing technology
1.1 Gas-assisted molding technology is maturing
In recent years, gas-assisted molding technology has gradually been applied in plastic mold processing. At present, some companies have applied gas-assisted molding technology in the processing technology of plastic objects such as washing machine housings, TV housings and car decoration objects, and have achieved very good results [3].
1.2 Wide application of hot runner technology
Although the application rate of hot runner plastic molds is not high, the development speed of hot runner technology in the plastic mold processing industry is very fast. At present, the application rate of hot runner technology in plastic mold processing technology has reached 33.33%. The more common hot runner processing technology is divided into three types, namely general internal heating, splitter plate and external heating [4].
1.3 The efficiency of plastic molds is improved
With the continuous introduction of new technologies and processes, the service life of plastic molds has been extended. At present, the processing speed of high-speed plastic profiles in my country has reached the speed of commercial processing. The basic mode of plastic profile can be divided into two modes: dual-cavity co-extrusion and multi-cavity co-extrusion. Many companies in my country have carefully designed the automatic de-runner mold and cooling system during the processing of plastic molds, which has significantly improved the processing efficiency of plastic molds.
